Look Again at Christ Crucified
Passage: Galatians 3:1–3:9
It is needful and necessary for us to continue to look at the Crucified Christ so as not to fall away into the fleshly way of thinking that supposes that we can earn a good standing with God based off our own works.
Three Different Persuasions Paul Makes to the Galatians
- It is folly to take your eyes off the Crucified Savior. (Galatians 3:1)
- It was your experience to receive the Spirit by faith. (Galatians 3:2-4)
- It is the same old Gospel by which all have been saved. (Galatians 3:5-9)
“The most excellent study for expanding the soul, is the science of Christ, and Him crucified, and the knowledge of the Godhead in the glorious Trinity.” - Charles Spurgeon
