As Isaiah 55:10 shows, God, in His infinite wisdom, uses the Word to accomplish His Will. The Word is God’s divine instrument. 

After considering the author of Psalm 119, and the excellence of the Word, we now consider the benefits of the Word of God.

Four Benefits of the Word of God

1. The Word is is God’s instrument for conversion. 
2. The Word is God’s instrument to change us.
3. The Word is God’s instrument for direction.
4. The Word is God’s instrument for joy.
