Mark 1:40-45

Loneliness.  Something many struggle with -- even Christians.  Even in the midst of a crowd of people.

Mark shows us how Jesus reached out to a Lonely Man and changed his life forever. Let's meet him.

Tony Reinke writes, "... we can always be lonely in a crowd and even more so in a digital world."  Technology creates a desire of seclusion in a crowed, but we're never alone.  Automation ends up replacing interaction with people.

Technology is always pulling us apart by design. It removes all the benefits of being in relationships.  We are quickly becomine a lonely society.

But the hope of the Gospel, as in 1 John 1:3, 7 reminds us that we have fellowship with God Himself. Verse 3: " that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ." and verse 7, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."  

We have relationship with the Creator, Himself.  We are never lonely again.
