Heavenly Wisdom Concerning Trials

In the Christian race, trials are an inescapable reality. We are either just coming out of one, in the middle of one, or about to encounter one. James speaks to this in his letter. However, the main theme of his writing is to speak of godly wisdom (James 3:13-17). And, he reminds to ask God for any and all wisdom that we need. (James 1:5)

So, how can God’s wisdom help us in our trials?

Five Aspects of Wisdom Concerning Dealing With Trials in a Godly Way

1. Plan on considering trials to be an opportunity for spiritual growth. (James 1:2-4)
2. Pray with sincere faith for God’s wisdom concerning trials. (James 1:5-8)
3. Praise God no matter the circumstances for we are His children. (James 1:9-11)
4. Persevere. (James 1:12)
5. Put off sin and take personal responsibility. (James 1:13-15)
