God designs our trials to bring us closer to Him. We are to pray and trust Him even more in tough times. Sometimes, the response to our prayers are not what we’d hoped for; we may even feel that God is using the circumstances against us, or that our sins are bringing God’s punishment again us. This story from Genesis 9 shows us that though God’s grace comes to us in ways that seems adversarial, it is ultimately for our blessing.
