Feeling the Vanity of Life Apart from God
Speaker: Jason Whitley Series: Ecclesiastes: Live for God Scripture: Ecclesiastes 1:2–11
What does a soul apart from God look like?
What if a soul gains all that the world has to offer but is not centered around God? Would that life be satisfied without God?
Ecclesiastes shows us that Solomon was full of humility at the end of his life, and in his consequent honesty and transparency, he tells his life struggles for our own benefit. He does not want us, the readers, to relive his sad recorded experiences, but rather to learn from them and thus make choices that draw us closer to God.
